About Me

Doreen Park, IBCLC, RN

Hello. My name is Doreen.


I am a Labour and Delivery, Postpartum and Emergency- certified Registered Nurse and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.


I created Moyu Lactation Feeding Support to provide comprehensive feeding support and lactation consulting for those who are breast/chest and bottlefeeding.

I had a huge transition to being a new mom and as many others, did not know what to do when I arrived home.

I struggled through breast and bottlefeeding, navigating issues such as with tongue and lip tie, low weight gain, jaundice, latch issues, bottlefeeding issues, and food allergies. I have a lovely daughter whom I breastfed for 4 years.

 

I understand the complexities that many parents face with feeding their own child and emphasize with their struggles.

My expertise includes breastfeeding and bottlefeeding guidance, coupled with valuable educational resources to empower parents on their feeding journey.

I did a pre-natal lactation education class with her which I found extremely helpful in preparing me for breastfeeding and, it provided me with a foundational knowledge of steps to take to optimize my milk flow. After my birth, she came to my home for an in-person lactation consultation. She was so knowledgeable, patient, kind and comforting to have in our home. After our visit, I was emailed a written summary of our visit, which was so helpful to refer to when my sleep deprived mom brain was barely hanging on.
